Compiling briefs for upcoming advert bookings and campaigns and scheduling with design team Working with designers to create artwork for a variety of print, digital and billboard media bookings Working with production departments to organise production and delivery of all on-site signage and artwork
- Managing production of the UK’s leading weekly motoring magazine - liaising with art and editorial departments to organise page creation, plus approving the final product. - Sub-editing all content, including editorial input, grammatical changes and fact checking. - Experience with Adobe InDesign for page layouts and Photoshop for reprography work. - Editorial contribution including a ‘How To Haggle’ feature spread.
Similar duties to Auto Express role on a regional scale. Also including; - Managing layout and media planning for publications, liaising with editors to discuss content. - Briefing designers on adverts and advertising features to fulfil client briefs. - Contributing to social media output including website posts and Facebook campaigns.
I currently work as a Senior Studio Assistant and PA to a professional photographer at Hamilton Photography Studios in East Grinstead. I am actively involved in marketing strategies, such as working with social media outlets and writing monthly email marketing copy, along with mail-outs and advertising articles that have been published in national magazines including 'The Master Photographers’ Magazine.’ My other roles include; - Acting as full support to the studio owner, including complete diary management, customer relations and dealing with all enquiries to the studio in a confident and polite manner - Processing and retouching photos using programmes including Adobe Photoshop and CaptureOne on iMac 2013 series, as well as helping with presentations and customer management using the Microsoft Office suite - Managing the upkeep of the studio such as setting up the studio for photoshoots and updating the customer database.
Over the summer of 2011, I worked with ITV Studio Drama, as a temporary runner and office PA, with tasks such as; - Acting as a PA to office staff including Creative Director of Scripted Drama - Answering enquiries to the department, including communication between senior members of staff - Printing and organising scripts and their amendments, whilst acting as a general office assistant During my time, I was in charge of managing a casting session for a selection of actors. This included organisation of meeting rooms, logistics between departments and staff members, and acting as a host to external team members. I declined a full-time role within the company to complete my final year at college.
