About me
I pride myself on my warm personality and thrive in an environment where I can utilise my people-skills. I am a highly-motivated person who aspires to do my best at any challenge I face. I am a quick learner who can employ new skills to new environments efficiently by utilising my organisational and time-keeping abilities. I have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and bring enthusiasm to every opportunity.
I have a vast range of transferable skills accumulated from employment, education and extra-curricular activities. Importantly, I have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and therefore I feel confident that I can become a valued asset to any organisation in a short period of time. Having recently completed a Master’s Degree at King’s College London in Arts and Cultural Management, I am available to start immediately.
My time as President of the De Montfort University Dance Society exemplifies my skill set. One of my highlights was successfully organising DMU’s very first inter-university dance competition. During this time I allocated a budget, researched the appropriate venue and liaised with numerous contacts to secure the event. In addition, I cemented outstanding skills in leadership having chaired a committee of ten people. The competition was attended by eight universities and due to the success of the event it will continue in the future.
Furthermore, I have Events Management experience working for a start-up record company. During this time I ensured clear communication with the Marketing team to effectively advertise events. I also helped manage the social media accounts and promoted various events.
