London based, Senior Graphic Designer that is also capable of art working to final print/pixel, meaning I am super organised and fast. I love working with companies and clients that are organised, thorough and know how to brief.
Industries I would love to work in more are as follows: Events, Entertainment, Music, Alcohol, Interiors, Experiential, Arts.
Am an extrovert from the cusp of Gen X and Millennial so I'm not afraid to pick up the phone to call and speak to a client or colleague. I thrive in ethical work places and teams that have ergonomically sound work spaces, avoid politics, no unpaid over time, all while recycling everything possible.
Have also been a DJ for over 20 years internationally spinning Italo disco, 80s, 70s space disco, everything synth, melodic house and techno, synthwave, post-punk, rock, trip-hop, electro and more random obscure and nostalgic genres.
Was a live music photographer for many years too, shooting acts from around the world for Rock Shot, Ibiza Rocks, Artrocker, Virgin Online Media, Nine MSN and Tone Deaf in Australia.
I can work on site if it's less than 60 minutes one way commute from E11 and I am provided with a full ergonomically safe work mac station. Meaning it must have a foot rest, screen riser and chair with adjustable arms.
Projects
- Neurodivergent Moments Podcast LogoThe client approached me with a rudimentary sketch of a brain with a lightening bolt in it and asked if I could turn it into a logo with the podcast title involved somehow. As soon as I saw it I had a vision of how the text would look - juicy within the brain shape. I created this look by hand drawing it on paper into an outline of the brain shape, then retracing it on my computer. Client was very happy with the outcome.
- Outrun The Sun UKBranding for an all day mini music festival featuring 8 live acts and 2 DJs playing music from the synthwave genre. I designed everything for this festival, the print and digital campaign. I also managed it and produced it along with staff from the venue in Derby, UK. I also DJed at this event. You could call this a personal passion project, full creative control producing the best visual outcomes. The event was successful - made the venue £6k.
