Front of House SupervisorThe Falcon Hotel
Uppingham, Oakham, United KingdomFull Time
Forming part of the management team at the Falcon Hotel, considered the beating heart of rural Uppingham's vibrant town centre. Main responsibilities include maintaining impeccably high standards of customer service to guests from all over the world; cross-training new staff to a similarly high standard; working efficiently and promptly at the bar to deliver drinks to hundreds of guests during large-scale functions; developing an extensive working knowledge of the bar systems (including, but not limited to, barrel changes, line cleaning and beer maintenance); and compounding the success of a very fast-paced award-winning restaurant. In addition, I work with the events coordinator to plan, prepare and carry out events of a widely varying scale, acting as a point of contact for events guests and ensuring that all individual needs are met quickly whilst exceeding all expectations.

ManagerMendocino Farms
- Los Angeles, United StatesFull Time
Promoted from team member to manager within 6 months. Managerial responsibilities included leading a highly motivated hospitality team in the exponential expansion of one of SoCal's favourite restaurants, as well as implementing resources to aid them in growth, development, and the enjoyment of their job. Also responsible for opening/closing the restaurant and handling cashflow, inventory and the maintenance needs of the store. In addition to these, however, my primary focus remained the same: to develop lasting and strong relationships with Mendo's guests, so that they may always enjoy our neighbourhood gathering place driven by chef-focused gourmet sandwiches.
