Over the past few years I have constructed my own self-taught curriculum through subscribing to online art schools and local classes. I have made my learning deadline-focused and accountable, as I believe in the systematic discipline of regular, iterative practice. I make it a rule to do observational drawing on a daily basis and I go to regular life drawing sessions. I understand the value of focusing on the fundamentals and seeking knowledge from multiple sources, as well as asking others for constructive feedback to improve my art.
I have taken on a variety of freelance projects including magazine, card and safety illustrations.
I have also completed a number of personal pieces and takenpart in Art Battle Manchester XIV. I am looking to pursue a career in visual development for animation.
