About me
I am a multidisciplinary digital designer specialising in 3D and a recent graduate of BA Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Arts (UAL). My current practice focus includes; 3D animation, brand experience design, creating physical and digital outcomes and prototypes for a range of contexts. I have a passion for furniture and interior design with skill sets that encompass Blender, Adobe CC and physical making as well as product and packaging design. As part of my studies, I have been working in; creative coding using Processing & P5JS, working through UX/UR challenges using Figma and XR. I have a strategic approach to both thinking and making through design. I’m naturally a proactive collaborator and enjoy co-creating in teams – I was part of the core spatial show design team for the Chelsea Degree Exhibition 2023, allowing me to further explore my passion for furniture and interior design.

Over three weeks I ran three blender workshops for first and second years as a way to introduce them to the software. For these sessions I has to plan and prepare three different lessons, each progressing from the previous. The first was an introduction to the UI, adding objects and basic modelling. The second was adding materials by showing basic UV unwrapping and adding image textures. The third session was setting up a final scene by adding lighting, an HDR and then rendering.

Over two weeks, I ran four day long Blender workshops for first year students as a way to introduce them to the software. For these sessions, I had to prepare a presentation talking about my previous works using the software, and my motivation to use it, then I could begin with the basics of the software; starting with the layout, the different tools, different settings and how to set up a scene. • Running these sessions allowed me to develop my time management skills as I was working on my dissertation at the time and spread my time equally between the two. • My communication skills were also tested as I had to talk to people in as a class and one on one, when there were specific steps they didn’t understand. • I also had to change my teaching plan on the go as each class had different abilities and interests, which meant I would change the models we made to suit their requirements.
