- Hackaball - designed whilst working at MAPDesigned whist working at MAP and in collaboration with Made By Many. Hackaball is smart and expressive ball aimed at 6-10 year olds who can program and design their own games using a companion App. Hackaball can sense motions like being dropped, bounced, kicked or shaken and responds with light and sound. It has not only been designed to be robust and tactile but has also been designed to be opened up and assembled by the user. Hackaball will be in the Kickstarter backers hands for christmas.
- HackaballHackaball is a programmable computer you can throw. When I first became involved, the product was in beta with a functioning prototype and app. Designer Alex Harding and I were tasked with preparing Hackaball for public launch, which meant developing the brand and refining the product experience. This involved three key stages: conducting market research to determine Hackaball's target audience and brand positioning; strengthening the brand to offer maximum appeal to the target audience; and refining both the product and app experiences to help realize the product's full potential.
