About me

Ben Morgan, who is half Danish, was born in London, but was raised in Devon. He is from an artistic family and has had a passion for art ever since a young boy. Ben graduated from Plymouth University with a BA (Hons) in Illustration in 2013. His style evolved from a mistake that lead his work to hand painted paper collage. With a good use of colour combination Ben creates big open spaces, which lead you into his work resulting in a picturesque quality. He is inspired by the landscape of this beautiful planet, and artists such as David Hockney and Eric Carle, but is especially influenced by his Farfar (grandfather) Michael Morgan.
