About me
For 10 years I’ve been helping brands tell stories and capture the imagination of their audiences in playful and vibrant ways. Whether art directing a project or designing it, I always want to take risks and find unique ways of making ideas leap from the screen or page. If everyone is playing it safe we might as well have some fun.

  • OTHER
    OTHERAt colville-walker we worked closely with London clothing label and boutique shop OTHER on all of their output, from a complete initial branding package to website design and lookbook direction. The store and garments both draw heavily on geometry and angles, but juxtapose this with natural materials and textures – this interplay informed an identity that was both structured but with an unfinished organic quality.
  • Shelf Heroes / Issue H
    Shelf Heroes / Issue HAlongside the studio work, I’m also the founder, designer and editor of Shelf Heroes, a print publication that celebrates cinema one letter at a time. Each issue is based on a letter of the alphabet and invites artists and illustrators to: “Pick a film beginning with the letter _. Go create something”. Currently on issue H, it’s sold in bookshops and cinemas all over the world and has featured 500+ contributors already.

    Die Hard ScarfTo celebrate one of my favourite Christmas movies I collaborated with illustrator Dan Evans on a limited edition half-and-half football scarf so both John McClane and Hans Gruber could get the love they deserve (we’re planning Ripley vs. Alien next).   • BFI Comedy Genius
    BFI Comedy GeniusWorking with the team at Mother I created a suitably fun brand and campaign to engage audiences with the BFI’s program of great comedies. Brilliant dialogue combined with perfect delivery is a key component to many cult comedies – and we wanted the iconic geniuses to be front and centre of the blockbuster season. Working collaboratively with the team at BFI we designed key visuals heroizing those unforgettable and witty quotes that transport you back to the movie theatre in a heartbeat. We also
  • VUE Avengers
    VUE AvengersI worked with VUE to help them promote the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War in their cinemas. I hand picked 25 movie obsessed illustrators and art directed them in recreating a character from the movie in their own unique style. This created a huge amount of social media buzz and led to an uptick in ticket presales. The artwork was given away as posters and the promotion was supported with behind the scenes videos featuring the artists. client: VUE & TH_NK
  • Bell Square
    Bell SquareHounslow’s friendliest arts centre, Watermans, approached us to produce a brand for an area of the town centre that was to be repurposed as a flexible outdoor arts venue for dance and performance. It required an identity that was as vibrant and joyful as the artists scheduled to perform there – and also appealing to a general population who had rarely engaged with the arts.
