As a painter/performer, I explore different aspects of my practice and translate it into new dimensions with paint and film. In this mix of media, my work transforms and attempts to create fresh perspectives.
I mainly focus on portraiture and the female figure, exploring the gaze and its impact upon representation. Working also as a model, the fashion industry has provided an inevitable source of inspiration. Being both in front and behind the ‘camera’ has allowed me to question and experiment with the complexity of the two roles, using them as a tool of self-study.
