EH7 Studios is a film production company based in Edinburgh, representing and led by a roster of talented young people. The goal of our business is eventually to be able to represent and employ artists and creatives from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds.
As of September 2020, I assembled a small team of fellow filmmakers to start developing projects for Edinburgh based small business and charity organisations.
As head, I work both on the creative and business side of the company. On the creative side, working with clients my team to develop projects that best fit client needs. On the business side, working to find ways to expand EH7 Studios' outreach as a startup business and identifying strategies that will allow us to expand.
Through being a writer & director at EH7 Studios, I work with clients on the creative side of production to help develop concepts, write scripts (where applicable) and work with other creative heads to bring our clients ideas to life.

Starting in 2016, I have worked as a freelance filmmaker, I began this in anticipation of my film studies at Screen Academy Scotland. Over the past four years, I have been able to work on a variety of projects, ranging from promotional content, fiction films and music videos. Throughout this, I have been able to develop my skills as a filmmaker generally in all areas of the film process, from pre-production right up into post-production elements.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) Edinburgh Napier University

Starting in 2017, I have studied at Screen Academy Scotland & Edinburgh Napier University, undertaking a bachelors film degree.
Throughout my studies, I have primarily worked as a writer and director across both fiction and documentary filmmaking. Most notably, projects such as It Takes Heart, This Modern Love, Why Techno? and my graduate project Away Out. Through these projects I have been able to further develop my style as a writer and director in regard to the way I approach storytelling.
However, I have also been fortunate enough to work in other areas of the filmmaking process, primarily as a producer and post-production sound designer. Through this, I have gained more insight into pre and post production processes in filmmaking workflows.

Best Comedy, 'Mark at The Supermarket'Swindon Film Festival
In the summer of 2019, I co-produced a short comedy, 'Mark At The Supermarket' alongside writer & director, Arthur Johnson. After entering it into the Swindon International Film Festival, it was nominated for: Best Short Film, Best Actor, Best Comedy, Best Production Design & Best Student Film. From those nominations, it received Best Comedy.
