About me
Benoit BERTHE is a french CG artist and animation film maker graduated from SUPINFOCOM. He directed his first short movie : "Je m'appelle Nathan" selected in more than 30 festivals around the world and won a 3rd Award in the Going Underground Festival in Berlin and the first Award in Paris; and co-directed "1900-2000" selected in 20 festivals and awarded in the ITFS festival and Animayo festival. He worked with several animation directors such as Nicolas DEVAUX, or Oscars nominated as Bastien DUBOIS, or Smith and Foulks and is now living in London working for Nexus Production and Picasso Pictures.
On a sideline Benoit is consultant for start-ups, talent scout for animation companies, writes articles on the specialized press, and staff picks advisor for Vimeo Staff Picks. Benoit also gives some conference at Supinfocom Digital director School and some art school in Paris.
In August 2016 he founded and curated his talks-event called "The animation Showcase" at Soho House, to promote the best animation short films to the creative industry and stimulate creativity through those inspiring short films.
