About me
Hello,My name is Bernice Wallace I just recently graduated from university of South Wales I studied fashion promotion. During my time at University, I have been able to explore the world of fashion marketing and promotion. From photoshoots and styling, management and journalism. I have been able to diversify my understanding of the industry and find what part of this world is the right fit for me. And of course for me, where I belong is in the world of styling. Styling has always had a strong impact on me, even from a young age. I used to love styling my friends in school to working in a retail shop styling other people, So that is how I went on to study fashion Promotion at USW. During University I was able to gain first-hand experience working as a stylist in a vintage brand e-vintage on Asos market to coming up with my own concept where I was able to see how the fashion industry is applied in a professional environment. This was most definitely my favourite experience whilst at University as I was able to, not only experience working in a position I have dreamed of working in for so many years, but also I got to work with an amazing team who went on to help me gain so much insight into this job role.   Entering my third year at University, it was my job to create a project entirely around my future career aspirations. In this opportunity, I decided to create a fashion film campaign educating people more about the effects of climate change as I felt the fashion industry doesn’t really talk much about I felt there was a gap in the fashion industry This day in age the fashion industry don’t really talk enough about real issues happening in the world today I felt like it’s time to make a change by educating more people about the effects of climate change, this day in age the generation today don’t really know how much waste is dumped in the ocean per minute and how it affects marine animals and the planet. This project was solely a passion of my I have always been very passionate about helping the world and making a difference,A sea of clothes was made of upcycling clothes made by me I was inspired by the brand Botter a sustainable brand all about up cycling clothes which is a huge passion of my as I am always up-cycling my own clothes as a hobby of my. I would with no doubt would definitely continue on this project in the near future. This project was an amazing experience as it really allowed me to explore further into creative director and styling and use my creativity at a whole new level. As my University career draws to an end and I am able to look back at my experiences, I am now beyond ready to enter the 'real world' and continue to create innovative for the world of fashion. MUTE MAGAZINE In a second-year University project, my class as a whole had the task of creating the annual course magazine formerly known as Plattform. In this project, I took on the roles of a stylist and as a member of the styling team for the magazine's I had to director and style the models. This project really helped me find my strengths and weakness. Here a link to my upcoming project I’m working on right now it’s all about ocean pollution and climate change. Also I have attached a link to my portfolio and upcoming project. https://instagram.com/seaoflife_2020?igshid=mutrybf8nld4 Portfolio: https://spark.adobe.com/page/6yX0spAO7tqAz/

“The New Man ” for SleekmagMasculinity as we know it has undergone a sea change—the necessity to conform to artless machismo has been washed away. In its wake, a new man is visible on the horizon—one whose evolution is characterised by fluidity, flair and poise. London-based Gambian musician and model Junior Choi, star of The New Man, embodies an updated iteration of the trite sartorial cliché of androgyny. Indifferent to the notion of his appearance being seen as too feminine, he pulls off deep fuchsia trousers, embraces
