Recent graduate of MA Museum Studies at The University of Manchester with Distinction, specialising in:
- digital preservation of museum collections and archives
- documentation of exhibitions
- providing museums with accessible and interactive virtual tours to widen audiences and champion
inclusivity
I have worked closely with a number of galleries and museums to curate, preserve and document their collections, including Manchester's Castlefield Gallery and Elizabeth Gaskell House (EGH) Museum.
For the EGH Museum I provided an innovative, interactive virtual tour for one of their recent temporary exhibitions, while researching and exploring new ideas of accessibility and the inclusivity of neurodiverse audiences as part of my Master's thesis.
I am now a Conservation/ Digitisation Technician for Ancestry, working at The National Archives, responsible for providing high-quality images and professional conservation of important records for wider access.
