- Rhiannon Adam: Fracking in the UKPhotographer Rhiannon Adam spent four months immersed in the UK fracking debate. Her ultimate aim: to redirect the narrative away from the singular news piece and give an identity to those involved. Adam corrupted selected images with a constituent chemical of frack-fluid, alluding to the potential environmental impacts of the practice. - A photography road trip across CaliforniaIn September 2018, photographers Clément Chapillon, Ricardo Nagaoka, Francesca Allen and Brant Slomovic spent 10 days travelling across California. Commissioned by Studio 1854, in partnership with Visit California, the resulting photo series, editorials and films shed light on the lesser known sides of the state.
