One month internship in the Atelier department. Responsibilities included pattern amendments guided by pattern cutters, tracing patterns, digitising patterns into the Gerber system, assisting the fabric cutter in the laying and cutting of fabric, stitching toiles guided by seamstresses, hand stitching, trim and fabric sourcing, fabric manipulation and finishing tests and assisting with the organisation of the studio.

Confucius Institute 1st PrizeLeeds Arts University
Leeds Confucius Institute collaborated with Leeds College of Art to set a competition brief of designing a inventive, modern and creative Cheongsam (Traditional Chinese Dress).
As the winner of this competition I won an all expenses paid trip to China for two weeks. Whilst there, I was able to explore the culture, but also meet with two fashion companies including LaLaBoBo. At the meetings I was able to show my designs and the made garment to gain feedback and give my personal view on British and European fashion and style.
