Bethany Hill is a self confessed, Documentary Photographer, studying at the University of Westminster in London. Originally from Carlisle in Cumbria, she moved to London at the start of her studies in 2013. The context of her work usually explores social constructs, for example exploring gender and sexuality in her recent project Coming Full Circle, where she explores the LGBT* community of her home county of Cumbria. It is a web-based platform and series of developing projects around the U.K. The contextual starting point is the nine protected characteristics of Equality, as defined by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Due to my work surrounding LGBT* issues, I have been invited to be part of the kick-staring project.
