About me

I am a photographer who has experience working freelance, for large companies, and for smaller independent businesses. I have taken promotional stills for TV and theatre, and I regularly create social media content for a clothing label and editorial work for magazines. Having worked on projects of different genres, I am accustomed to adapting my practice to suit different briefs. My technical competencies include: Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One and InDesign. Working with the BBC, I was tasked with creating images that reflected the director’s and DOP’s creative vision, which also entailed editing my images to correspond with the production’s visual aesthetic. From my shoots with The Maker’s Atelier, I have learnt how to work effectively alongside MUAs, stylists, and designers, as well as how and when to offer my own creative input.

  03.XII.1924 von Deinen ElternFor my final major project at the University of Brighton, I looked at my own family and their relationship with our Jewish Heritage. The project (03.XII.1924 von Deinen Eltern) is an uncompromising excavation of my family’s history, in familiar and unfamiliar spaces, made through dialogues, performances (sittings) and ‘encounters’ with documents and objects, uncovering the complexities of remembering and forgetting.
