About me
Hello, I’m Bethany McLean, Owner of BCMcLean I’m the kind of person you’re most likely to bump into at a gallery or exhibition (some of my teachers and friends can confirm this is true)! An ambitious and creative designer maker with a sustainable outlook on what I would like the future fashion industry to look like. Sadly, our current state of the industry is one of fast fashion and low-quality workmanship, I want to be an individual playing my part to change this. I have a very wide and varying skill set; from luxury fashion restoration, to garment construction and university technical support which has already allowed me to explore many areas of the vast fashion industry. My creativity runs through every task I take on, with a steady eagerness to always learn something new. Want to have a conversation, please feel free to message me.
