About me
There's nothing I love more than admiring an independent magazine with a good cup of coffee. The typography, layout and print is what interests me most, and I revel at the idea of doing that for a career. I'm a graduate of a Graphic Design course at Teesside University and would love to go on to pursue a career in editorial design. I've completed many projects with printed outcomes, such as magazine design and competition briefs. These projects have lead me to get a great deal of knowledge in printing processes and layout design and that is something I hope will make me a good candidate for a junior designer job role.

I submitted a response to the ISTD brief - Fickle Fads. My project revolved around the faddish culture of 'Acid House' in the late 80s. My outcome was a printed publication that was hand-bound and features florescent typography and neon coloured Perspex front cover. My response was sent to Nottingham for assessment and was awarded a merit.

This program involved working with multidisciplinary design teams on a project about the care system. This project included vast research into the current care system, customer journey mapping and stakeholder maps to reach a final proposal for further work. Having taken up the project manager role, we succeeded to achieve a commendation for our work with the Design Council.
