Since my graduation I have been keeping busy with numerous placements within the industry as well as personal practice.
I like to challenge myself, taking on new and exciting roles that aren’t always the norm. I offer insightful and potential ideas while having some fun along the way. With a talent for delivering work at a fast pace without losing quality, my ability to meet deadlines comes along with it.
I am an optimist through and through and am always one for getting stuck in!

- Motion Graphics'Design a motion graphic piece for the opening sequence of a pre 1940's film' Using a complete catalogue of illustrated elements, I carefully crafted every part of this motion graphic in order to come up with the final outcome. Extensive storyboarding and planning allowed the making process to go a lot smoother. They style of the video is inspired by a travel scrapbook and pop-up book. With a mixture of branding, social and editorial design, freelance designing is often down to the requirements of the client. I have completed rebrands for small companies and start ups, as well as social media maintenance for larger companies. No day is ever the same. The freedom to work my own hours and choose the briefs I'm set has had its perks but it doesn't give me the stability that I would like. I have worked closely with clients and maintained good contact through meetings to make sure that the end result is what they want.

Working this job alongside my lecturing role meant that I got involved with all aspects of the university regime. As a technician it was my job to make sure that all the printers drivers and computer software was running up to date. Implementing new printers and giving tutorials to students for new equipment. Running studio workshops for students and being on hand for queries and help.
With the added responsibility advising the allocation of the departments budget, I was able to introduce some new and exciting equipment that has lead the students work and thinking to more experimental and explorative outcomes.
