About me

Hey, I'm Bettina! A freelance writer and environmental journalist with a passion for movement and culture. Originally from Brazil, I graduated in International Relations at SOAS University of London in 2020. Since then, I have been the co-founder of 8720, a creative agency for digital artists that used art as a tool to start, deepen and challenge conversations on the current climate crisis, as well as an avid traveller engaging with and documenting different stories across the globe. Today, I merge my passion for travel, culture, and social justice in the pieces I write. For me, it is crucial to explore concepts, events, and circumstances from, both, a macro and micro lens. Recognising the past as we experience the present and co-design a harmonious future as a community on our healing planet. My goal is to keep on exploring my ever-so-curious and creative nature, as I work closely with brands and projects that are in alignment with my values.
