Hi, I'm Bia. I'm a cultural insights specialist and strategist with a background in fashion, beauty, retail and lifestyle. I’m originally from Rio de Janeiro, but have called London home since 2007.
Throughout my career I have done everything from guiding an alcohol brand in understanding the future of socialising through foresight, to helping Google build a sustainable platform that enables fashion brands to make better supplying decisions.
My passion lies in culture, and understanding its nuances and how it influences the brands of tomorrow. I’m keen to work with companies and people who know that empathy and creativity are the winning combination to engage with their audiences. Ultimately, it’s about starting and leading the conversation, rather than simply following it.

Current Global is an innovation firm at the forefront of fashion, retail and technology.
I was responsible for leading the strategy team into developing strategy for bespoke projects that culminated in integrating innovative technologies.
This included a project leading strategy for Google on creating a sustainable fashion supply chain platform; working with Shiseido’s M&A team on 2020 positioning and investment/acquisition opportunities; and enabling Burberry’s c-suite team to think innovatively about the future of retail.

Stylus is an innovation research and advisory firm that helps businesses process global consumer lifestyle, product and engagement insights, stimulating innovation and growth.
As part of the Advisory team, I was responsible for researching, developing and delivering insights for bespoke client projects, from presentations to workshops. I also co-lead the launch of Stylus Brazil by developing launch strategy, hosting marketing and insight presentations, in-person bespoke client deliveries and new business meetings alongside the local sales team.
