About me
I’m a senior content creator a PR & marketing manager seeking an innovative brand that wants to be a disruptor in its industry. Worked with international brands like Bumble, Tortilla, The Thinking Traveller and TIGI. Reader, podcaster and film fanatic in my (not so) spare time. More info if you like reading... I am a highly motivated individual with 7 years of social media and marketing experience within digital agencies, brand-side and freelancing. An expert in digital marketing (social media, email and content marketing) and brand management, I am able to adapt to changes in the market or campaign conditions to stay ahead of the competition. I am gregarious and have excellent leadership and team management skills, being able to guide and motivate cross-functional teams. I am incredibly proud to have freelanced and worked brand-side with brands in beauty, fashion and lifestyle (working with a dream brand of mine, Bumble) which would not have been possible without the versatile nature of agency work!     This contract role requires my management of all content creation across Tortilla social platforms as well as influencer relationships and brand partnerships across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Community management is also a huge part of my role with an incredibly engaged group of Tortilla ‘besties’.This role as a contract had me onboarding another social media team member. Campaigns I have worked on include Veganuary, Blue Monday and Valentine’s Day saw Tortilla’s reach hit 2.4 million cross-platform and the social profiles having a 73% rise in engagement. With regular ‘Flavour of the Month’ amplification with content creators like Jonny Davies, Eating with Tod and more plus our March/April campaign 'Size Matters' for National Burrito Day, Tortilla began trending #2 on Google in the UK, gained over 30K new loyalty member sign ups as well as hit 1.7 million likes and 50K followers on TikTok.

    Managing 6 external PR agencies, I ran all press activities for The Thinking Traveller, targeting the UK, US, Australia, DACH, Benelux, France and Italy. An independent role, I created releases for journalists and travel agencies, oversaw quarterly digital PR campaigns and monthly blogs (from our digital agency), organised journalist and content creator visits, managed brand partnerships and press budgets. Within the UK market, we worked with major titles like The Times, Financial Times, Condé Nast Traveller, The Telegraph, Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair. A huge PR win of my own was having The Thinking Traveller featured across 3 separate international Vogue (Australia, US & Germany). Managing the output of all organic social media content (with the help from a social media assistant), we saw a 32% overall rise in social following and 30% increase in engagement across all networks.
