    London, United KingdomFull Time
Day to day I run a number of social media accounts for my clients. I set up and run ads for them, source and create content, ghost write copy, write blogs and engage with their community in order to grow their social media networks and help them achieve their short and long-term goals. I also report back on key metrics and analytics in order to help clients learn what works for their audiences and drive a strategy plan so that these learnings are put in place, tested and optimised. I also support on strategy and creative campaign planning for a number of clients in order to consult and advise on the creative ways they can stand out and make a difference in their work. Working specifically with purpose-led companies, organisations and campaigns means my expertise and experience is particularly in social media planning and strategy for social good. In 2018 Social Misfits Media joined The Brewery, part of freud communications. At Social Misfits Media we believe world-changing organisations deserve world-class solutions. If you’re a charity, foundation or social enterprise with big ambitions, it’s time to make social media work harder for you. With years of experience across every social platform, we work with you to deliver tactical, outcomes-driven plans that meet your online and real-world targets. In other words, we help you turn your social media into social good. Whether you’re looking for clicks, donations, volunteers or just need a guiding hand, let us take the hard work out of social and leave you to focus on what matters - driving your organisation’s impact. And the best bit? No jargon, we promise. Current and former clients include: The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Malala Fund, World Cancer Research Fund, St. Paul's Cathedral, Islamic Relief, Lumos, Doctors of the World UK, Autistica, The Royal Academy of Engineering, Lightful, Cats Protection, and Amnesty International.

BA English Literature and PhilosophyOxford Brookes University
     - Oxford, United Kingdom
During my time at Oxford Brookes I studied various modules including Academic Literacy, Critical Theory, Creative Writing (introduction to advanced), Protest Literature, Ancient Greek Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind and Freedom, Justice and Political Theory. I also undertook a dissertation entitled 'Is Nationalism progressive?' In my second year I founded a Mixology society with a group of friends which hosted spirit masterclasses, tastings and competitions across Oxford in different bars. I was president of this society until I graduated and the society is now going into it's third year with a new team of like-minded students.

Best New Society Of The YearOxford Brookes University
We won this award for founding the Brookes Mixology Society in 2015. I put a call out to see if the society would generate any interest and received sign ups from 85 people which meant that we could go through the formal process of establishing the society with the student union. Over the two years I managed two teams of five students to make contact with local bars and venues, organise events and sell tickets. At our first ever social we had 100 guests and our cocktail masterclasses were consistently sold out. During my time as President I directed the planning of 16 events for the society which included cocktail masterclasses, tastings and competitions. It was through this role and the contacts I made that I was offered my job as Events and Marketing Coordinator at Novandi. Before leaving Oxford Brookes, I hosted elections to ensure the society was handed over to a new group of students.
