About me
A great storyteller with a passion for Brands. This obsession started 5 years ago when I worked for Red Bull, I was pulled into the Food and Drink world and amazed in innovation and entrepreneurialism. I was the founding member of Ugly Drinks and during my time here also consulted for many brands: Graze, Tenzing, Hippeas, KIND Bar and Sandows. Here I learnt the importance of brand guidelines and a good narrative to get people on board, my role was very broad as the team was so small spanning marketing, operations but specialising in sales, I left 2 and half years later as the UK Sales Manager with a small team. I joined The Telegraph as an Investment Partner for a year to gain a deeper understanding of how the advertising industry worked and what brands did with publishers to extend reach. Here I learnt the in's and out's of the importance of strong content on the correct channels to the correct audience at the correct time. My role covered all Telegraph products from digital marketing to print and sponsorship deals. I worked with over 50 direct clients and developed very strong account management skills. With the skills I have developed across many different brands, some huge and established, and others small and innovative, I believe I have a well rounded insight to help to grow a brand that I really stand behind.

    My role is to look after the direct clients who use a range of Telegraph products to advertise their companies, this is a client facing role where strong interpersonal skills and task prioritisation capabilities are key. The main aim is to sell and deliver relevant marketing campaigns composed from our wide product portfolio, based off the clients needs with the goal of reinvestment post campaign. Deep understanding of the necessary content, relevant audience segments and which platforms to use was key to this role to be able to answer briefs sent over by brands and deliver a successful campaign.

    As the founding member of Ugly, this role required me to be able to wear many hats. You had to be very reactive to situations and have a 'all hand on deck' attitude. I was responsible for growing and maintaining our database of customers by leading the sales team from the front and networking my socks off! This role was very closely intertwined with marketing, we needed to work together to ensure that the budget we had available was being spent in the most effective way to drive sales to ensure a bigger budget the following quarter to drive brand awareness. This required me to analyse our customer data closely to measure the effectiveness of some of our activations and to see where we needed to steer our resources too to facilitate maximum success.
