I am a creative film graduate who is actively looking to build on my existing skills through freelancing and I am ultimately working towards becoming a full-fledged filmmaker, editor and photographer.
I have written and directed a few original short films including a domestic violence drama and a short film highlighting male sexual abuse.
I am experienced in single camera cinematography having shot a majority of projects independently. My videography demonstrates my ability to ‘Shoot for Editing’ and apply all 3 types of continuity; ‘Continuity of Action’, ‘Continuity of Direction’ and ‘Continuity of Location’. I alternate between hand-held camera work and using a tripod, in addition to using multiple angles and shots, which I apply to ensure that my footage is as varied as possible. My videography is diverse in regards to genres, as I have shot a charity film, promotional films, fashion commercials, behind the scenes videos and live music events.
I am proficient in Final Cut Pro X editing software having used it on all of my projects to date. My technical skills include colour grading, sound editing and applying visual effects. My combinations of both black and white and colour shots demonstrate my ability to be original and ‘think outside the box’; as it is not a commonly used combination. My editing also demonstrates my ability to effectively apply different techniques such as elliptical editing, parallel editing, jump-cutting, use of diagetic and non-diagetic sound and graphic relations.
My work includes both black and white and colour photography, as well as experimentation with visual effects. I have made some of my pictures into videos with moving effects, whilst others remain still images. This occurred through my own experimentation of ways to create original, distinctive work. I have a diverse portfolio that includes fashion, street art, festivals, live events and product photography.

- Black & White BeautyStarring: @Kaé O'Meally BTS Details: You would never guess by looking, but the weather made this photoshoot slightly challenging at times. There was rain, drizzle and wind, all of which seemed to deliberately occur each time we got into a rhythm lol. - Lady Festival 2017 - Artist Spotlight: AadaeBlack Zodiac Videography attended the Lady Festival - "A Festival curated for Leading Ladies". The goal is to showcase female artists/musicians/bands; allowing them to maximise their exposure and attract new audiences. The event was held in Pop Brixton and was curated, hosted and run by Kadija Kamara.
