I’m Bob Mollema and work as an Illustrator and Art Director. I work for large and small customers, but they all have one thing in common; they are companies that thrive best on culture, people, nature, knowledge and the world. In my role, I always guide the project from start to finish. I personally take on the design work and the production work to ensure that the quality remains high.

- Antiz Skateboards Pro SeriesAntiz is one of the most recognized european skateboard companies. I had a lot of freedom for this project. The performance you see is about breaking away from the American and Christian standard and daring to embrace our pre-Christian traditions. It is about tribes that lived in more unity with nature. - Paradiso Amsterdam: De Kift PosterDe Kift is a well-known band in the alternative music scene in the Netherlands. Paradiso approached me to make the poster for their album release show. I got in touch with Ferry Heijne, the mastermind behind De Kift, and spoke to him about the inspiration for the album. From his sources of inspiration I explored a visual landscape, and I fished elements out of it. The result is this poster. At Twynstra Gudde I worked as Graphic Designer and Illustrator on a broad range of assignments. Twynstra Gudde is active in markets like: infrastructure, government, water, energy, sustainability and education. I help our consultants within these markets to translate their ideas into fitting designs. That can be infographics, magazines, books and illustrations.
Next to this activities I'm also working on the brand. Last year I was closely involved in the rebrand of Twynstra Gudde. I am currently working on creating an icon and shape database. In addition, I make standard corporate identity designs like whitepapers, brochures, posters, banners (off- and online), books and magazines.
I have taken the responsibility to provide Twynstra Gudde with an illustration culture. This is gradually starting to bear fruit. Because people begin to see that the power of an illustration can be greater than sentences trying to explain an abstraction.
