I’m a ‘Creative Vagabond’ and a ‘Makerfacturer’
What does this mean?
Designer Maker + Design for Manufacture and Assembly (dfma) = Makerfacturer
I regularly travel, acquiring knowledge and skills, utilised in my creative endeavours.
Additionally, I possess a strong understanding of design for manufacture and assembly, due in part to my time as a CAD CAM technician at RMIT University, but also possess an appreciation for the handmade. Working at times within the realm of the designer-maker, throwing myself at opportunities to develop and produce concepts by hand and dabble in materials exploration or learning various manufacturing techniques, thus pushing myself to become a better designer
