About me
I am a real estate investments lawyer and a principal investor focussed primarily on UK residential real estate (London and the south coast) and early-stage technology businesses led by mission-driven entrepreneurs with a desire to change the world for the better.
My investment ticket size typically ranges from £25,000 to £1,000,000 on a sole basis, and up to £10m on a co-investment or syndicated basis. (There is also the occasional outlier: the largest investment opportunity I have secured to date was a $100m equity investment in US real estate.)
I enjoy connecting visionary investors with transformative tech ventures at their embryonic stage. My partners and I eschew the traditional “scattergun” VC approach where most investments are expected to go to zero. Instead, we operate a “sniper” model where every dollar invested is invested with conviction and with the expectation that it will generate an outsize return. We take a very hands-on approach with our investee companies to protect our investments and to ensure a high degree of visibility and agency with our investments.
