I recently graduated from an MA Film at the University of Kent in Canterbury, and am currently looking for jobs in London.
During my time at university I have been able to study those topics that interest me the most, allowing me to build up experience and expertise. I got to improve my research skills, as well as developing excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
I am a keen writer, and have managed a personal blog for several years now. I recently started a new blog on Wordpress, on which I post about a wide range of different topics from films to travelling. I also write for an online magazine called Between the Media, which focuses on Film, TV, games, and music. I mostly write on the topics of film and TV, presenting in-depth discussions of series and movies that I have enjoyed watching. I also help manage our Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr pages, making sure that our social media channels are up to date.
I have experience working as a website administrator and did translation work for websites (Dutch-English, English-Dutch). I am therefore accustomed to working independently, and understand the importance of accuracy and having good time-management. I am also used to working in a team environment, both through previous jobs and working on university projects.
I have an eagerness to learn, and enjoy engaging with a large amount of different topics. I am looking for positions which match my interests and skills, and which will allow me to keep developing myself.
