I am a London based arts and creative events producer, with a passion for creating spaces and content for cultural exchange both physically and online. I have a depth of experience developing, managing and delivering public programmes in the charity and not-for-profit sectors. I enjoy widening access and demystifying art and culture to a diverse audience. I have also co-authored various community projects funded by the Mayor of London and have agency experience working as a marketing strategist.
Shape History is a social impact communications agency working with purpose-led institutions, charities, campaigning groups and social impact leaders on strategic design and communication. I joined the company in a newly created role to build brand awareness and develop the marketing function of the agency.
Pushkin House is the UK's oldest independent arts charity specialising in Russian culture, located on Bloomsbury Square, London. I worked on raising brand awareness, developing partnerships, managing and delivering public programmes, as Pushkin House's first Development Officer.
I co-authored a community outreach project, which received funding from the Mayor’s European Londoners Outreach grant scheme. Together with the Greater London Authority, New Europeans, and the London Bulgarian Association we organised multiple legal surgeries, information events, and distributed materials and online content aimed at European Londoners at risk of post-Brexit marginalisation. I co-authored a community engagement and peer research project, which received over £12,000 in funding from the Mayor’s Citizen Led Engagement Programme, designed to enhance engagement with communities whose voice and influence over public policy had previously been underrepresented.
An MA programme designed to respond to the growing strategic importance of Russia and the post-Soviet states. My Master's dissertation analysed the visual culture of the contemporary Russian art scene, situating a selection of works, installations and performances, as attempts at visual activism resisting official state narratives. I gained specialist area knowledge and expertise in the politics and societies of the region.
A thought-provoking BSc programme, covering how governments, intergovernmental organisations, transnational movements, NGOs and multinationals influence global politics. My academic work focused on the political management of perceptions through language and speech acts, as well as identity construction in Europe. I developed analytical skills to examine and critically assess complex issues, contested concepts, and debates.
