  • Managed various grass route artist building their awareness within the music industry. Used my extensive network of internal and external contacts to pitch creative promotional placements in an increasingly challenging environment. Accountable for signing new clients, sourcing projects, marketing clients, managing projects, controlling budgets and shopping albums. • Played a pivotal role in running a successful campaign enabling the artist to reach number 4 positions in the iTunes album charts, number 3 in the official independent charts. • Built solid working relationships with radio DJs and plungers to obtain regular radio play on stations such as BBC 1XTRA, BBC Asian network and Kiss FM plus regional and pirate station. • Secured unique deals with a booking agent to expand the artist’s following and to drive the campaigns forward. • Adopted in-depth on-line marketing knowledge, promotional and distribution tools/services. • Monitored artist mentions on social media as well as digital and print press. • Monitored and identified emerging trends across the domestic and international media and broadcast platforms whilst identifying new creative opportunities. • Worked closely with Marketing and Brand teams – ensured that all media partnerships were aligned with key marketing strategies and objectives. • Negotiated endorsement deals with multiple fashion brands. • Maintained and strengthen existing key relationships and developed new opportunities with artists, agents and organizations. • Insuring fast processing of invoicing for artist photo shoots and campaigns. • Coordinated social media activity for relevant campaigns and projects, including utilising social network channel - Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and emerging social platforms • Pitched new ideas to leading broadcasters as well as international music companies executives (Sony ATV)

A key responsibility of mine was to manage the data entry of important box office information such as sales data, release information and the distributor data. Ensuring that all of the information was accurately entered onto Universal NBC’s bespoke database • Data entry of box office sales, which were reported to sales managers and other senior stakeholders • Responsible for assisting with email queries from internal and external contacts. • Provided administrative support to various departments such as, sales, licensing and marketing.


E-commerce Merchandising

  • I was responsible for planning and developing a strategy to enabled the Accessorize brand to sell a range of products that drove sales and profit higher. I worked closely with the buying department to ensure the product they bought permitted Monsoon/Accessorize to achieve the sales plan. • Identified opportunities through data on best sellers, new reaction and promotional opportunities to improve sale performances. • Followed through on trading actions as developed by the E-commerce Merchandiser. • Responsible for merchandising specific brand area through effective website merchandising, stock management, reconciliations and critical path management • Took full ownership for updating the content of all websites for Accessorize area to ensure it remains on-brand, and enhances customer loyalty, trading opportunities and transactional processes to maximize sales performance • Assisted online traders in reporting on sales, key metrics and promotions in daily, weekly and monthly trade meetings e.g. Map analysis, best sellers report, Homepage analysis, clicks and revenue. • Responsible for logging each campaign on a campaign planner database so volume and Return Of Investment can be easily monitored. • Worked with the Senior Brand Partnership Manager to identify ways to grow new business through existing or new categories, as well as ways to maximise emerging channels (social and mobile)
