Masters degree in Sonic Arts

Intensive one year Masters degree which developed skills in experimental musical composition for film, installations and otherwise. During the year my knowledge of sound art history and contemporary art has become advanced, very knowledgeable in this area.
Capturing field recordings and apply practical applications wether that be in sound design, experimental musical composition or for delivery to bigger companies and brands for corporate and/or artistic use.
Strong emphasis on familiarisation with multiple DAWs, some common place like Pro-Tools, some less known like Cecilia 5, Mammut and MAX MSP. The above are all signal processing DAWs and systems capable of complex algorithms. These are especially useful in sound design, allowing me to create almost anything that is needed with the ability to replicate 'real-life' sounds for dramatic effect, saving time recording or searching for previously recorded sound.
The Masters degree also equipped me with the ability to compose ten-thousand word reflective essays, giving me insight into the workings of a project, critically analysing why and how something works, benefits and detriments. This is especially helpful for general trouble shooting with sound projects and in a more general perspective the work of others, I believe that this makes me a reliable and consistent team player.
