I am an experienced, conscientious and energetic Duty Manager looking to take the next step in my career. I have a wide range of practical experience ranging from managing social media sites and maintaining various blogging platforms to having extensive involvement in the organisation of events, which has given me a great passion for the industry and one which I have found incredibly rewarding. I have played important roles in addition to the work I handle for my cycling organisation, “East London Fixed”. Worked alongside world renowned sports brand Le Coq Sportif on their 2015 Look-Book and advertisements as well as organising media and other social events for industry giants Oakley, and planning events at craft beer brewery CRATE, which has resulted in me seeking a career within Events.
•Ensuring the smooth operations of a leisure centre • Adapting to various tasks as and when necessary • Management of staff, primarily managing the reception team • Creating promotions and timetables • Undertaking health and safety tests • Dealing with customer enquiries, sales and booking • Money handling, banking • Managing staff rotas and budgeting • Raising PO’s, invoices and placing orders • Event assistance and supervision • Ensuring the facility is prepared for use in accordance with the planned programme • Ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained to the highest possible standards of safety, cleanliness and security • Providing visible leadership to facility staff, ensuring they are motivated, operate at high levels of both performance and efficiency • Allocating, monitoring and supervision of work standards of operational staff • Contributing to managing the performance and ongoing development of staff
