  • I will be assisting with various tasks necessary to run a gallery from day-to-day, including but not limited to: researching prospective artists for the gallery to acquire; researching newly acquired works; writing artist biographies and content for website/published materials; lending a helping hand to transport and hang art work; reorganising the gallery mailing list; editing the website when necessary.

International Mobilisation Specialist

Sep 2013 - Aug 2014
  • I deployed linguistic personnel to culturally diverse locations world-wide, including areas with austere living conditions. I coordinated travel itineraries for all deploying personnel, many of which we received no more than 48 hours notice for. Additionally, I responsibly managed a deployment budget of $1 million and saved the company 12% of travel-related costs in the year I was employed with them. In order to accomplish this, I negotiated with hotels and airlines to secure cost-effective travel arrangements while still ensuring comfort and convenience for traveling personnel. I gained deep knowledge of Work Permit requirements in Germany and worked closely with the management there to write a continuity book detailing the procedures for deploying personnel to Germany.

International Legal Assistant

Jenkins, Wilson, Taylor and Hunt P.A

Feb 2011 - Aug 2013
  • I researched international intellectual property laws in over 15 countries to ensure compliance between U.S. and international patent regulations. I also supervised all Power of Attorney and Assignment requirements for international filings and collected all necessary signatures and apostilles. I prepared intellectual property legal documents for PCT applications and international filings under the advisement of and for the firm’s partners and attorneys. Further, I advised clients in electrical, mechanival and biotech engineering fields on the status of their patent applications from filing to grant.

Residential Green Games Liaison

The Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling at Chapel Hill

Sep 2007 - Apr 2010
  • I managed Residential Green Games, an environmental awareness program for hundreds of UNC students. In order to promote the program I published monthly newsletters, consistently updated website regularly and I organised all events and awards ceremonies for the commencement of the annual Green Games competition. Additionally, I was responsible for assisting with the coordination of event booths for Campus Sustainability Day, America Recycles Day and Earth Day annually. Most notably, I created and managed CouturEvolution, UNC's first Sustainable Fashion show, in effort to further promote Residential Green Games and OWRR. My efforts were successful - the show attracted over 300 attendees in its first year.
