About me
I am a recent graduate from Vancouver Island University with a Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design. My travels have inspired and educated me in the world of design. I am looking to constantly create concepts that help evolve myself and the world through design thinking and collaboration. With understanding the power that design can have on different cultures. I feel I am well rounded and continually looking for opportunities for adventure and growth.
Projects
  • Logo for Natural Doctor.
Logo for Natural Doctor.A lotus is the symbol of purity of the body, speech, and mind.  This logo was created for a Natural Doctor who wanted to avoid the typical medical logos, have something with a little more meaning to her and her business.
  • Branding and Social Media Campaign For The Vancouver Island University Exchange Agents
Branding and Social Media Campaign For The Vancouver Island University Exchange AgentsI created a logo for an amazing program and team of former study abroad students from Vancouver Island University. To help motivate other students to go study abroad. I along with a colleague, Jessica Paquette created an Instagram campaign for The Vancouver Island University Exchange Agents to convince students on why studying abroad is beneficial to your education, career, and life.
  • Class Project: Heineken Campaign
Class Project: Heineken CampaignHeineken is an openly inclusive beer that has sister companies all over the world. I took a gender -Women- and culture -Asia- typically sexualized and seen as unable to drink beer, and created a campaign that normalizes Asian Women to be able to drink to their heart’s content.  The main quote of inspiration for the campaign is anything is possible with a little lipstick and Heineken. Lipstick is the “Women’s Uniform” and is seen an empowering act especially during the women suffrage movement. That paired with a “Mans” drink becomes a powerful message. A snapchat filter was created to give users the Heineken Red lipstick and glasses. The target is for women to say I am a Heineken girl and I will complete the impossible. Another take away created was Heineken beer bottle plugs. On Vancouver Island, the date rape drug is a popular threat to university students. A beer plug keeps people safe and promotes safe drinking. A set of posters was created with an overall message saying “Women, we can handle the day and kick back with this awesome beer while not being sexualized or told: we don’t do beer.”
