    Responsible for engaging and exciting Pearson’s 35,000 global employees with its new brand identity, via: Communications and engagement ● Created compelling content for employees via blogs, social media, newsletters and gamified campaigns. ● Recruited and trained Global Brand Champions to act as advocates and custodians across all markets. ● Developed and ran Brand Hero Awards to recognise people across the business for advocating and living the brand. ● Led the Pearson Design Forum to drive brand design best practice across the company. Project management ● Oversaw the development of the Pearson’s Brand Guidelines (+ 12 sub-guidelines addressing how to design merchandise, trade shows, workspaces and how to coherently and consistently apply brand assets.) ● Developed, designed and project managed Pearson’s online brand training platform to 35,000 employees: o Managed two external agencies and seven internal teams at Pearson, o Ideated, reviewed and signed-off storyboards and animations and edited video transcripts to ensure clear and consistent messaging, o Developed and delivered a rigorous communications campaign to promote the platform to target groups. ● Drove Pearson’s involvement in the D&AD New Blood Awards in order to raise our profile in the student community, collect insights and ideas. Developed brief and shortlisted ideas from 150 creative submissions. ● Managed relationship with third party design agency and led on all design-led projects including two videos which were shared company wide. Brand and design custodianship ● Led all visual identity work following departure of VP Brand. ● Proactively ensured consistent application of the brand and good design across print and digital. ● Sourced brand creative assets including photography, illustration, music, pictograms and merchandise. ● Analysed engagement efforts via regular reporting.

    Responsible for promoting my international clients to journalists and decision-makers in the Olympic Movement, via: Account management ● Serviced demanding clients based across Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Switzerland and Brazil. ● Provided crisis management 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ● Developed strategy plans for proactive client campaigns. Content generation ● Wrote speeches (covering topics such as the emancipation of women in sport and the integrity of sport); letters (including some of a political nature appealing for gender equality in sport); features; press releases; statements; new business proposals and campaign manifestos. Stakeholder relations ● Managed media relations on-site at a Red Bull sponsorship launch with the International Volleyball Federation. ● Managed media trips to major international sporting events in Turkey, Poland, Italy and the Netherlands. Event organisation ● Coordinated the first international media trip to Turkmenistan (40 journalists including CNN). ● Organised a press event at F1 involving Bernie Ecclestone for the launch of a Mongol Rally team in London. Evaluation and strategy ● Wrote evaluation of internal and external communications at the World Anti-Doping Agency.
