I am a congenial, self-motivated individual with experience working in a client facing environment - this means I know what it takes to create vital, harmonious relationships with the clientele. I have gathered key administrative experience which has came from organising exhibitions for me and my fellow photography students. Experienced in negotiation, thus able to smoothly resolve issues between parties and communicate well. I am a creative who exercises ambition to give myself the best opportunity in the industry that I am passionate about. Ability to execute tasks/ideas in high pressure environments in order to meet deadlines. I am excited to provide these skills whilst working with cliential to assure that their vision comes to life. It is important to me to initiate an environment where others are encouraged to express themselves - I take pride in my ability to know when to talk and when to listen, learning from my leaders, peers and experiences. I look to offer solutions and ideas when needed. I am a clear, critical and reflective thinker who enjoys the challenge of problem solving. My creativity drives me to look for new projects and continually be productive and proactive. I am someone who is thorough and methodical in regard to detail - this ensures that I endeavour to leave every task finished to a high standard. Artist Statement:
"Callum Smith is an editorial photographer who uses his photography as a medium to document and examine British heritage and the surrounding culture that he grew up in - his work is predominantly interested in masculinity with respect to this topic.
Smith pays close attention to the study of human behaviour and the perspectives of his subjects - educating himself and his audience to better understand their experiences and viewpoints.
Smith’s work invites people to reflect on themselves, their own thoughts and beliefs. This is often done through the use of humour and satirization in his photographs - used to take the solemnity away and creating a space for the audience to open up and ask questions of their own understanding of the subject matter.
Smith’s most recent work ‘What is Lost’ addresses toxic masculinity in British culture, exploring themes of phototherapy while documenting the social issue - capturing men in British culture who haven’t felt like they have been able to show affection towards each other and providing a safe environment for them to do so - recording the process in an ethnographic manner."
I am a recently graduated student who studied photography at The University of Creative Arts, Farnham. I have come away from a summer of involving myself in exhibitions and getting myself published in magazines and online articles - I would now love to develop my career in the creative industry.

I also act as the middleman between PR companies and Phoenix - as well as sourcing, editing and organising any images used in the magazine. I also am given the opportunity to assist with the photographer on photoshoot days.
