After graduating in Printmaking at Falmouth School of Art, Calum threw over an offer to house-share in Crouch End to set up home in the slightly more remote Tobermory. He started his own design and promotional company with support from PSYBT and Highlands & Islands Enterprise, and with the exception of four years back in Essex as the manager of an electronics company, he has lived and worked on Mull. Calum has worked in marketing for An Tobar & Mull Theatre since 2010.
Calum is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists and Visual Arts Scotland. He has exhibited in the SSA exhibition in the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and has work selected by the Leica Fotographie International editorial team.
Even though Calum is possibly the most northerly Essex man in the UK, his fake tan hasn’t been diminished by the notorious west coast weather.
