Shooting and Directing a range of content for the agencies clients, with names from New Balance, Homebase, Rowse, Linkedin, Samsung & Rubicon. Working on varying scales of jobs, from studio set ups, to on the go run-and-gun set ups. I work end-to-end on jobs, inputting on the concept to the final technical delivery. When not shooting I’m editing both my own material and others, working to tv, social and online outputs. I also at times liaise with outside post-houses and production companies, attend grades and voice over sessions.

At Karmarama as the in-house videographer I worked across a range of brands from BBC R1, Costa Coffee, Nintendo, Pilgrims Choice, The British Army, Onken and AgeUK. This required collaborating with the creative and planning teams to produce work to the correct style and on brief. I also produced materials for pitches, showreels and for the press.
Kream are a multi platform production company who specialise in branded content and tv commercials. At Kream I was required to self-shoot, photograph, light/direct and deliver high quality creative content. I also assisted on the larger scale tv ad’s with camera crews. Responsibilities: - Taking creative briefings and work closely with Production, Creatives, and Clients - Using my creative eye and expert knowledge in the use of cameras for composition, exposure, and depth of field. - Being highly competent in the operation and set up of all equipment, including microphones, lights, and cameras needed for recording sit-down style interviews and basic location sound. - Editing own content and from time-to-time overseeing edits, always up to delivery. - Working with Production to insure delivery on schedule, on brief and within budget. - Undertaking the management of company kit, kit hires, kit repairs and allocation. - Being aware of and utilising the latest industry trends to film. - Shooting for continuity-style editing and obtain b-roll material appropriate to a subject. - Managing multiple tasks under pressure, adapting to changing priorities and working well independently, as well as in a collaborative setting.
This course compromised an into to camera operating, the frame, ratios and lens choice for S16mm and Digital, camera movement, depth of field and focus pulling, camera maintenance skills (magazine loading and lens change) Lighting for film and video, hard and soft light, colour tempature, exposure, film stocks and gain, filters, light meters, professional lighting set ups, lighting plans, white balance, shutter speed and manual focus operation.
Working with the ARRI Alexa Camera and the management of data. Included data wrangling, analysing the technical quality of shots, working with the DoP, live image manipulation, transcoding and grading.
