About me
Graduate with a 2:1 Honours degree and significant workplace experience looking for an entry point into the arts sector. I have recently returned from working on farming projects across Asia, specifically Japan during which I was part of a team constructing a zero-waste farm, cafe and arts centre. Since returning to London I have been part of the Rich Mix New Creatives, a team of young creatives tasked with curating art events within the Tower Hamlets community. I wish to use the new skills and understandings gained from these experiences as well as my passion for community, the arts and film to help make a difference and excel in any challenge given to me.

I recently completed a sixth month placement on the Rich Mix New Creative Program, a course aimed at teaching young creatives how to programme and curate artistic events in the Tower Hamlets community. During this time I acted as marketing and audience development director, overseeing the marketing stratagems for our curated event 'FIRSTS' which saw ticket sales surpass predicted figures by 50% and has been re-commissioned for a second summer running. The program has allowed me to develop my skills in working within a large company and how to successfully liaise with internal departments as well as artists themselves to see through a project to its fruition.
