About me
Web: cameron-ward.com IG: @cam_ward_ Cameron is a multi-award-winning Cinematographer based in London, UK. Growing up in both the UK and the US, Cameron graduated with 1st Class Hons. (BA) in Film Studies from Exeter University. He then later went on to graduate with an MA in Filmmaking from The London Film School. He has since worked internationally across a broad range of countries, collaborating with a wide variety of peoples across the world, both creatively, and professionally. As a Cinematographer, Cameron is interested in working with directors to translate emotional themes into visual structures. He believes that a story's emotional context should be reflected in the world around it through design and practical lighting elements. Cameron's work on "A Place With Pinwheels" (Dir. Alfred Seiya Lam) won the Panalux Cinematography Prize 2019. He also won the Image Prize at Chalon Court Film Festival for his work on "The Chairs (Oturacaqlar)" (Dir. Orkhan Agazadeh) the same year. Cameron's first feature project "Industrial Ruins" is currently in post-production, and has been selected for Edinburgh International Film Festival Works in Progress 2019.

Job requires that I create and manage all imagery produced within any given project. This includes research, ideation, and presentation. Regarding its many conceptual elements, I lead the translation of these into tangible technical elements. I then direct and manage a team with these in consideration - chiefly lighting and camera.
