About me

While completing her degree in Fine Art (BA First Hons) Camilla realised she had a commercial mind. Having decided to develop this, she first went to the London College of Fashion to obtain a Masters in Fashion Marketing and then worked in sales and marketing within the creative and sustainability domains. After seven years in London working with clients and organisations such as the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, Nike, Nicholas Kirkwood, Selfridges, Positive Luxury, La Fervance and London Fashion Week she decided to come back to her continental roots and set up her freelancing on the shores of the lake of Lugano. Building on her sensibility to issues of growing relevance, Camilla worked with sustainability-minded brands after having made “Re-branding to Sustainability” the subject of her Master dissertation (2013). Her knowledge on the topic was additionally established when she worked for Positive Luxury, the business behind the Butterfly trustmark. There she assessed the actions in the field of sustainability to be rewarded with the trustmark and guided brands in the advancement and communication of their environmental and social values. Camilla is half Swedish, half Italian and has lived in Belgium, Luxembourg and the UK. She is fluent in four languages (Italian, Swedish, French and English) making it possible for international clients to discuss their business in the language they feel most comfortable with. In addition to her consulting activity Camilla is the co-founder of The Start-Over Project, a digital platform for advice and inspiration aimed at freelancers and/or people looking for more serenity in their life.

Positive Luxury Awards 2020 hostess, greeting and guiding attendees throughout the event. Assisting brands with technical implementation of the Positive Luxury's USP, the Interactive Butterfly Mark. Monitoring and If necessary correcting (by means of Django and Wordpress) the web manager's work in order to ensure the brand pages are updated and compliant with company’s guidelines. Advising clients on the use of the Butterfly Mark so that they may maximise the benefits it offers in terms of data collection. Auditing the use of the Butterfly Mark in order to produce reports and case studies according to brand guidelines for internal and external communications. Weekly reporting and analysis, including most popular brand pages and referrals via Google Analytics. Building Account Management strategy for international expansion of business. Provide with news, information and translation for the three sites. Key Achievements Managing all 127 accounts during five weeks, as the sole member left of the old team, while awaiting the arrival of two replacement account managers. High renewal rate of over 90% , I notably signed up accounts had left the business salvaging accounts that were at risk, establishing strong relationships with them.
