Camilla is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary graphic designer with over twenty years of branding and packaging experience.
She is an effective and compassionate creative leader and collaborator, a storyteller and problem solver, who combines a natural eye for design and craftsmanship with commercial acumen. She is particularly passionate in developing 360o branding and especially well versed in premium branding & packaging within the beauty and fashion sector.
This year she was commissioned by Acne / Deloitte to produce a new 360 brand identity for Vodafone’s Cyber Security Division, implementing this through print, digital and animation applications. Furthermore, she has recently re-designed a fashion brand for hair products, developed start-up food and drinks brands and worked in-house for Molton Brown designing their seasonal campaigns.
She is currently freelancing although aiming towards working full-time again.
Camilla started her career in design as a full-time designer for many years before setting up her own company, CLDA in 2004. From 2004 - 2016, CLDA worked with Habitat, Harvey Nichols, Tom Dixon, Boots, John Lewis, Sanctuary Spa and others. Whilst running CLDA she was solely responsible for the creative output, financial planning, administration, managing a team of designers, presenting to and liaising with her clients.
As a person, Camilla is innovative, curious, conceptual, effective, conscientious and keen to improve brands wherever possible. She is comfortable being the creative lead for a team of designers as well as being part of a team.
Camilla’s skill set includes conceptual and innovative thinking, strategic planning, leading a team as well as being part of one, financial planning, creative direction as well as hands-on design. Briefing and art-directing a team of designers, overseeing illustrators and photographers. Presenting and liaising with clients.
