About me

After graduating from Edinburgh university, Cara escaped to Africa to work in conservation, fly aeroplanes and take photographs. On returning to London, she trained as a lawyer and worked in the legal department of Getty Images before qualifying from a city law firm in 2009. Since then Cara has been a freelance photographer whose work ranges from portraiture to landscapes. Cara founded Lumitrix in 2012 to champion photographic talent whilst providing buyers with an affordable entry point into the market.
