I’m a Recruitment & Talent Management professional for the Advertising & Digital Communications sector, with 16 years’ experience, both in the UK & Australia.
I’m often asked where I get my energy from & the secret is, quite simply I love what I do.
I have been responsible for helping to shape the careers of hundreds of talented professionals with the Creative Sector, from Graduate to Senior Director level.
My talent acquisition recipe is simple...be authentic. I'm motivated about the right career steps for my candidates & the culture/talent strategy of the business I am recruiting for. In an industry where creative excellence is the core product, it's an important responsibility.
What makes my background unique is that half of my career was spent within generalist Human Resources, before transitioning into Talent Acquisition, allowing me to approach hiring decisions with HR acumen & intuition. It has also helped me to become a better judge of character.
Getting into the detail, I specialise in the set-up and management of Internal Recruitment Departments. This incorporates Talent Acquisition Strategy, Recruitment Systems & Channels, Executive Searches, Headhunting, Employer Branding & Candidate/Client Relationship Management.
Disciplines that I look after, at all levels include Account Management, Brand/Comms Strategy, Project Management, Creative & Design, Content, Social & Technology, with a particular focus on Digital & Integrated marketing channels.
