Resident Art Journalist23 magazine

In this role, I've been commissioned to write an engaging piece about the Tate Late event for the second issue of 23 Magazine, a new print outlet with a specific focus on showcasing the rich and diverse arts and cultural scene in Southwark. Responsibilities included:
• researching and pitching interesting articles about the Southwark art scene
• taking on commissioned pieces
• coordinating interviews and establishing contacts with artists and creative
producers
• filing excellent written copy to stringent print deadlines.

I worked as a writer for Artefact, a print and online-based art and news platform at University of the Arts London. In this role, I contributed a diverse portfolio of work covering feature-based content on music and the arts. Responsibilities included:
• producing high-quality work according to deadlines
• undertaking first and second-level editing on colleagues' work
• coordinating the layout and copy for our bi-annual print magazine
• promoting content and driving engagement across the outlet's social media
channels
• improving the print edition in terms of sustainability and accessibility.
