RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Build and maintain internal relationships with all those working on Protein Content: Production, Marketing, Sales and Accounts
· Be the primary liaison with the Editors working with them to monitor, maintain and improve the quality of the Protein Content. Together with the Editors, identify the journal aims, scope and direction, and ensure that the established goals are met. If goals are not met, work towards change.
· Manage the smooth day to day running of Protein Content and resolve any issues that arise to maintain quality and production schedules
· Help steer the development of Protein Content; investigate and develop all opportunities for growth for each journal
· Host weekly Content meetings
· Work with Sales to ensure all media kit materials are up-to-date as well as conceiving and develop supplements and other non-subscription opportunities
· Work with Marketing to increase visibility and drive journal usage
REQUIREMENTS:
· Project management, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
· Negotiation and persuasion
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise on a daily basis
· Detail oriented
· Written and oral communication abilities and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work to tight deadlines
· Ability to work alone and as part of a team with a variety of personalities
· Ability to work well under pressure

· Able to work on a wide range of subject areas and with a variety of professionals
