About me
A creative with over 15 years commercial experience, my background is in editorial design. I have worked on publications and promotional material with a variety of clients, from national publishers, to individuals wanting to expand their client base. I enjoy the process of visual storytelling and communicating ideas that connect with an audience in an inspiring and creative way.

Forest bathing illustration for editorialOriginating in Japan, Forest Bathing is the practice of spending time in woodland to counteract the stresses of modern life, boost mood and immune function and increase an overall sense of well-being. A visit to the New Forest in the UK, inspired the creation of illustrations on this theme. The pieces would reflect the tranquil, peaceful and restorative nature of walking among trees. Intended for final use in editorial, a layout was designed to include the illustrations.
  • Mandranova illustrated postcards
Mandranova illustrated postcardsMandranova is a family-owned olive farm retreat in Sicily. An inspiring environment for it’s welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, nurturing food and exquisite olive oil, all created with love, care and attention. Designed for the retreat as a complimentary gift for
  • Modern Rustic
Modern RusticModern Rustic is a collection of British and international contemporary rural homes, published by monthly magazine Country Living. Premium photography is the focus of these special book editions, with architecturally interesting features forming the basis of the stories and making the job of art directing the book an enjoyable challenge.
  • Alex Gerlis' book covers
Alex Gerlis' book coversA bold, clean, vintage illustrative style was developed for Alex Gerlis’ wartime thrillers. Beginning with Vienna Spies, the style evolved to give a signature sweeping curve to the composition, for the reprint of The Best of Our Spies and continuing for new title The Berlin Spies.
  • J.Sheekey
J.SheekeyJ.Sheekey is the iconic restaurant situated in the heart of London’s theatre-land. The logotype and restaurant stationery was created in collaboration with the client and interiors team at David Collins Architecture and Design. The original signage was a key aspect of the long courtyard exterior, which provided the basis of the design for the logotype. The letters were refined and tones of the red exterior were used to give an enduring design that is still in use today.
  • Elle Decoration Country
Elle Decoration CountryElle Decoration Country is a special book edition published twice yearly, a collection of luxury homes both in the UK and internationally. This issue saw the need for a refresh to align with recently redesigned editorial elements of the monthly magazine. Working with the editorial team an approach was developed using bold typography for headline treatments, to compliment the dramatic photography and tell the story of each home.
